Students protest target killing of teachers

QUETTA: Hundreds of students from various educational institutions held a demonstration on Friday in protest against the target killing of Professor Khursheed Akhtar Ansari in Quetta the previous day. The Pashtunkhwa Students' Organisation, the student wing of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, had organised the demonstration, which culminated in a huge gathering after passing through various city roads. The demonstrators who carried banners and placards strongly condemned the target killing of teachers in Balochistan, adding that such elements were depriving the youth of their basic right of education. app
